The Company
We are a semi-professional Ukrainian character dance company united in love for Ukraine, dance, and performing! We rehearse and learn new dances mostly in the summer and perform all year around at festivals, events, retirement homes, schools, fundraisers, and more!
Our Artistic Director & Founder
Kristina Borys
Kristina Borys (Levich) is an accomplished dancer and educator with over 15 years of classical ballet training, alongside extensive experience in jazz, contemporary, tap, and modern dance from The Culture House Conservatory of the Arts. She further cultivated her specialized expertise in Ukrainian character dance at the prestigious Shumka Ukrainian Dance School and Company in Alberta, Canada.
With over 6 years of teaching experience, Kristina has successfully introduced and created a dedicated character syllabus for the Dance School at The Culture House. Her choreographic achievements include co-choreographing Blue & Yellow Kozachok with Matthew Borys, which won 3rd place at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) semi-finals in Kansas City and earned an invitation to the YAGP Finals.
