Meet Mavka's Company
The Company
We are a semi-professional Ukrainian character dance company united in love for Ukraine, dance, and performing! We rehearse and learn new dances mostly in the summer and perform all year around at festivals, events, retirement homes, schools, fundraisers, and more!
Our Artistic Director
Kristina Levich Borys
Kristina grew up at The Culture House where she trained in classical ballet, jazz, and modern. She performed several lead roles and competed in Youth America Grand Prix. She had the honor to participate in a 2-month internship with Shumka School of Dance where she trained vigorously in Ukrainian character dance. Kristina is a very proud Ukrainian and enjoys sharing her love and passion for both, Ukraine and dancing, with her friends and students.
